I don’t know about you, but I for one LOVE pizza! So if you’re a pizza lover like me, then you have to try Danny’s Pizzeria in Bradenton.
If you didn’t rent a car and need to stay on the Island, then try The Feast for your pizza fix. But, if you are able to make the 15 minute commute off the Island to Danny’s, it is worth it!
Danny’s is popular for their authentic New York style cheese pies. And though I have never experienced real New York pizza, I have heard from multiple people who have that Danny’s is spot on!
And it doesn’t stop at pizza, they serve Hero’s and delicious Italian cuisine. Baked Ziti, Chicken Parmesan, and even Calzones.
Danny’s is open for lunch and dinner everyday of the week.

The Feast Restaurant: The Feast is one of my top restaurants in general on the island. They have amazing food in good sized portions (plan for leftovers), though their pizza is fantastic. Their pizza is so good, sometimes we get it delivered to our offices. Trust me, once you just look at the pizza you will be impressed. It is the perfect balance of sauces, cheeses, and toppings. Much compliments to the chef .

Oma’s restaurant Bradenton Beach is run by the Mannino family, and has been on Anna Maria Island since 1982. The owners origin is from Sicily so you may find the tomato sauce a little sweet. They serve beer and wine as well as normal beverages. Their claim to fame is pizza so give it a try if you have the time. Patience is the key at Oma’s as the meals and service can take a bit longer than usual.
They serve the normal Italian meals; ziti, chicken parmesan, spaghetti, meatballs, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. In the past few years their prices have become average for the island. However a pizza can be very economical for a larger family. If you are in the mood for Italian this is one of the better choices on Anna Maria Island. See their web site below where they offer their menu without prices.
Additionally, Oma’s does deliver on the island. This is great for a lazy lunch or dinner in your beach rental.
If you decide to dine in, there is also a lovely patio area. You can almost make out a sunset from the patio, and definitely enjoy gulf breezes. Oma’s has many booth seats indoors for a comfortable and relaxing spot to eat.
