Anna Maria Island’s noise ordinance aims to ensure citizens can enjoy a peaceful environment. The ordinance applies to all areas of the city, including public and private property, and places of business. It defines noise as any sound that annoys or disturbs a reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities or causes or tends to cause an adverse physical or psychological effect on such reasonable person. The noise ordinance limits the maximum permissible noise levels to:
7 AM–10 PM: 65 decibels: (Consistently shouting in the pool exceeds 65 decibels)
10 PM–7 AM: 50 decibels: (An audible conversation from 50’ or 15 meters away exceeds 50 decibels)
The ordinance also prohibits plainly audible noise, which refers to any sound that can be clearly heard by a person using their normal hearing faculties. This means that a person can still be in violation if the noise can be easily heard by responding officers from a distance of 100 feet from the property line. Fines for excessive noise can range from $100 to $1,000.

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay, the house exceeded our expectations. This would be a place we definitely want to return to. Island Real Estate was immediate in responses to requests we had. A maintenance person was there within an hour of our request.

Lovely home close to beach access
This beautiful home is just across the street from beach access and close to everything you may need on Pine Street. It provided plenty of space for our family of 4 (with room to spare). We enjoyed both the pool and ocean view from the patios.

Lovely Bean Point rental!
The house is updated and in a great location (although just know the road gets busy and there isn’t a lot of privacy when outside). The property management company is one of the best we have encountered - communicative and responsive! This house is great for a small family. They have done an excellent job with the space they have! A short walk to the beach and great access to Bean Point. Just be aware that the pool is very small, and the property is tight and very close to the houses around it. Q:Is the pool heated and to what temp?- Cheryl P. Posted: 03/08/2021A:Yes A Mermaid's Tale does have a heated pool. As a guest you can expect the pool heat to be maintained between 79 and 80 degrees F (26 C). NOTE: When the ambient temperature falls below 60 degrees F for more than 5 hours, the pool or spa heater may not function and even switch off. Pool and spa heaters operate ONLY when the pool pump is running. Residential pools typically run 6-8 hours per day only. Pools will be cleaned one to two times per week and pool cleaning schedules vary. In addition, spa heaters can only incrementally increase the temperature of the water 20-25 degrees F. Therefore, if the ambient temperature is 65 F the spa heat will obtain a maximum temperature of plus 20-25 degrees F or 90 degrees F for the provided example. Non-scheduled pool cleaning costs will be the responsibility of the guest.
