Top Ten Night Spots

1. Hurricane Hanks– Laid-back sports bar with a fantastic menu!  I have never had a bad meal at Hurricane’s so grab a drink and enjoy some great eat’s.  My father love’s grabbing a gin and tonic with the scallops and bacon appetizer.  Business casual is normally the outfits found at Hurricane Hanks and this is a mixture of Coastal Vacationer and Locals.

4Bridge Tender Inn & Dockside Bar– Inside is the sports bar and restaurant, outside’s a tiki bar with live music, right on the water, and even a flat screen for game days!  Located in Bradenton Beach just of Bridge Street.  Parking can be a challenge so bring your patience or ride the trolley!  Good mixture of Coastal Vacationers and Locals.

Dcoy Ducks – Great nightspot with live music, poker nights and more!  Located in the heart of Holmes Beach right next to the Feast.  Go grab some fabulous food at the Feast and walk less than 30 feet to Dcoy Duck’s!  Normal outfit would be a tshirt with some casual shorts.  Leather could be included but this is a good mix of visitors and locals that patronize this bar.  Mixture of locals, coastal vacationers and motorcyle patrons.

Great Time At Food and Wine On Pine in Anna Maria City

Pine Avenue was packed from 11am- 6pm for the 3rd annual Food and Wine on Pine. The atmosphere could not have been better perfect weather, booths with delicious food, and some great wine tastings.  At the Island Real Estate office we had a show stopper with our new TAMI Turtle photo op. Young and old had a good laugh and a chance to send a digital postcard of their day on beautiful Anna Maria Island.  Not sure how next year’s event could top this years but the Chiles Group/Sandbar Restaurant will once again pull out all the stops to make it a special event in 2014.

Update: this event continues and 2015 provided for a fabulous Food and Wine event.

Island Real Estate has some fabulous vacation rentals right in the heart of the Food and Wine on Pine festival.  Casa Calienta at 217 Pine is one fabulous choice.  Another good choice is 414 Magnolia.

Christmas on Pine Avenue – Anna Maria Island

christmas on pine avenue
Pine Ave Holiday Walk 2011

Enjoy the merriment of Christmas on Pine Avenue as you stroll down Pine Avenue in the City of Anna Maria looking for last minute gifts and listening to Christmas Carols.  On Friday December 14th the pine avenue shops will have extended hours in honor of the Annual Holiday Walk on Pine Avenue from 5pm – 8pm.  Most of the Pine Avenue merchants will be providing snacks and drinks at their location and I heard a little rumor that Santa will be stopping by so bring the kids too!

While this is a post from 2012 the Christmas continues to be a tradition in Anna Maria City.  Normally the walk about takes place on the second Friday of December.  For example in 2015 the walk about was 12/11/2015.  Normally you can find more information on the Island Real Estate Facebook page or read the Anna Maria Sun who normally sponsors the Christmas on Pine Avenue walk about.

Have a safe and Happy Holiday Season from all of us at Island Real Estate!
