Tucked away in Holmes Beach, Vinny’s Italian Kitchen is part Italian kitchen, part pizzeria, part bakery and part specialty market. Behind it all is Chef Vincenzo, an Italian-born chef who has spent more than 50 years preparing the food he grew up with.
A Little Italy in Holmes Beach
Chef Vincenzo was born in Bagnaia, Italy, and began his culinary career working in his family's butcher and deli shops in New Jersey.
He eventually brought that experience—and his family's recipes—to Florida, opening Vinny’s Italian Kitchen on Anna Maria Island in 2010.
Today, Vinny’s continues to prepare rustic, old-school Italian dishes by hand using the traditions Chef Vincenzo learned from his mother and grandmother.
