The Cortez Fishing Village and Florida Maritime Museum

The Cortez Fishing Village goes back a long way in history and today it’s of the last working waterfronts in Florida.  Each year the historic Cortez fishing area holds an annual fishing festival.  Shop at the fresh fish market, eat at local restaurants like the Starfish Company and watch the fishing boats along the shoreline.  If you’re interested in Cortez history you can learn all about it at the Florida Maritime Museum.  Click the link below to watch a short video featured on Fox 13.
