Wednesday 8/18 2:30PM UPDATE

Island Real Estate went out to track conditions in order to share updates with locals, guests and owners to see what it's like here in paradise in real time. Red tide is a naturally occurring phenomenon with conditions that can change often. This video was taken today Wednesday about 2:30PM at the 37th Street beach access in Holmes Beach. There were no dead fish or seaweed in the water or on the sand. There were people on the beach as far as the eye could see, and enjoying the water as well. Monday 8/16 3PM UPDATE

Red tide is a naturally occurring phenomenon with conditions that can change often. This video was taken today Monday about 3PM at the kingfish boat ramp on SR64 just over the bridge in Holmes Beach. There were no dead fish or seaweed in the water. Also there was no smell in the air or any irritants to cause respiratory issues. The water was calm and clean. Thursday 8/12 10AM UPDATE

Red tide is a naturally occurring phenomenon with conditions that can change often. This video was taken today Thursday about 10AM at the 52nd Street beach access in Holmes Beach. There were no dead fish or seaweed in the water or on the sand. Also there was no smell in the air or any irritants to cause respiratory issues. The water was clam and clear. This video was taken today Wednesday about 2:30PM on Bimini Bay out on one of the docks for the Westbay Point and Moorings condo complex in Holmes Beach. There were no dead fish in the water. There were no dead fish on the sand, or in the water. The water was clear and beautiful. Also there was no smell in the air. Friday 8/6 2PM UPDATE

Sorry we were unable to get a video yesterday due to the storms. Red tide is a naturally occurring phenomenon with conditions that can change often. This video was taken today Friday 8/6 about 2PM in Holmes Beach. What a beautiful beach day after all the rain! There were no dead fish on the sand, or in the water. There was a slight smell in the air as we headed out through the access, but once on the beach that dissipated. There was some seaweed on the sand, but with the storms rolling through the last few days that is to be expected. Wednesday 8/4 1PM UPDATE

Sorry we were unable to get a video yesterday due to the storms. Red tide is a naturally occurring phenomenon with conditions that can change often. This video was taken today Wednesday 8/4 about 10:30AM at the 33rd street beach access in Holmes Beach. Sorry if it is hard to hear us on the video, but it was very windy. There were no dead fish on the sand, or in the water. The water was very rough, but there was no smell or any irritants today. There was some seaweed on the sand, but with the storms rolling through the last two days that is to be expected. Monday 8/2 1PM UPDATE

Red tide is a naturally occurring phenomenon with conditions that can change often. This video was taken on the Anna Maria City Pier today Monday 8/3 about 1:00PM. There were no dead fish on the sand, or in the water. In fact the water was sparkling in the sun, with fish swimming in large schools. There was some seaweed in the water, but not enough to ruin a beach day. There were so many people out enjoying this beautiful day as you can see in the video. Friday 7/30 12PM UPDATE

Red tide is a naturally occurring phenomenon with conditions that can change often. This video was taken at Manatee Public Beach in Holmes Beach today Friday 7/30 about 12:00PM. There were no dead fish on the sand, and the water was beautifully clear. There was some seaweed in the water and sand, but not enough to ruin a beach day. Red tide is a naturally occurring phenomenon with conditions that can change often. This video was taken at the Vista Grande condo complex in Holmes Beach today Thursday 7/29 about 12:30PM. There were no dead fish or much seaweed on the sand. The water was a bit rough due to the wind, but was clear and beautiful. Wednesday 7/28 2:00PM UPDATE

Island Real Estate braved the rain to track conditions in order to share updates with locals, guests and owners to see what it's like here in paradise in real time. Red tide is a naturally occurring phenomenon with conditions that can change often. This video was taken at a Coquina Beach access just North of the Northern most jetty in Bradenton Beach today Wednesday 7/28 about 2:00PM. There were a couple dead fish and seaweed on the sand, but none in the water. Due to the weather the water was a bit rough but still looked clean. In addition, there weren’t any irritants to cause respiratory issues. There was a slight fishy smell when we first got out of the car, but once we got past the sand dunes the smell dissipated. If interested it can be seen on our ISLAND REAL ESTATE FACEBOOK PAGE. Tuesday 7/27 1:00PM UPDATE

There were no dead fish on the sand, and the water was beautifully clear, but seaweed or dead fish whatsoever. Red tide is a naturally occurring phenomenon with conditions that can change often. The most recent video was taken at the Coquina Beach access across the street from 12th Street South in Bradenton Beach today Thursday 7/22 at about 1PM. There were a couple of dead fish on the sand, but they looked like they had been there for quite a while. The water was beautiful with just a little bit of seaweed, but no dead fish whatsoever. Wednesday 7/21 8AM UPDATE

Island Real Estate is continuing to track conditions and posting video updates from different island locations. Red tide is a naturally occurring phenomenon with conditions that can change often. The most recent video was taken at the end of the canal by 74th Street and Marina Drive in Holmes Beach today Wednesday 7/21 at about 8am. If interested it can be seen on our ISLAND REAL ESTATE FACEBOOK PAGE. There were no dead fish, and the water was clear of seaweed and debris. Also there was no smell in the air.

Tuesday 7/20 11AM UPDATE
Island Real Estate Vacations is tracking beach conditions and will be posting video updates from different island locations. Red tide is a naturally occurring phenomenon with conditions that can change often. We are working closely with the County and Visit Florida to monitor the red tide situation affecting the Gulf.  We were out at 11AM this morning at the beach access at 33rd Street in Holmes Beach, and while there was some seaweed, the water was clear. There were no dead fish on the beach, and no smell could be detected in the air. A video is posted on our Island Real Estate Facebook page
