Anna Maria Island’s noise ordinance aims to ensure citizens can enjoy a peaceful environment. The ordinance applies to all areas of the city, including public and private property, and places of business. It defines noise as any sound that annoys or disturbs a reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities or causes or tends to cause an adverse physical or psychological effect on such reasonable person. The noise ordinance limits the maximum permissible noise levels to:
7 AM–10 PM: 65 decibels: (Consistently shouting in the pool exceeds 65 decibels)
10 PM–7 AM: 50 decibels: (An audible conversation from 50’ or 15 meters away exceeds 50 decibels)
The ordinance also prohibits plainly audible noise, which refers to any sound that can be clearly heard by a person using their normal hearing faculties. This means that a person can still be in violation if the noise can be easily heard by responding officers from a distance of 100 feet from the property line. Fines for excessive noise can range from $100 to $1,000.

Super clean apartment, a lot of kitchen supplies (if you planned to cook during your vacation), perfectly fresh bedsheets and plenty of clean towels. Great location (beach, drugstore and grocery store super close), love the quality/price match. We stayed for seven days and had so much fun. We are definitely going back!!!

This house is one red light and one turn to the beach! We rented a golf cart and just drove it all week. The value was great. This house is equipped with everything you need for your vacation. They even provided us with pool towels! Anything I needed anyone they were just a phone call away. I loved the quiet neighborhood and pool. Winter Weather Escape
Such a great stay at this condo getting out of the cold winter in the North. The amenities were great - updated with everything you need - and the location is fantastic - a block from the ocean, trolley stop right in front, and close to lots of great restaurants! We loved how there is a beach wagon and chairs available for use, that was so helpful and made the beach experience even better! Great water pressure in the showers and comfy beds. VERY IMPRESSED!
This property was just right for us! We didn't rent a car, had intended on renting bikes, but didn't end up needing those either! We just took the free bus every time we wanted to go up or down island. We were four adults: my husband and I, and our two adult daughters. There was lots of room for us to gather together, and to retreat to our own spaces. We made use of the fully equipped kitchen, the laundry, and all the beach supplies (wagon, shelter, Bocce Ball, 4 beach chairs, small beach umbrella), indoor games (puzzles, Scrabble, Backgammon). The balcony is screened in, and overlooks the peace, quiet, and darkness of the Mangrove Preserve. The AC and Heat worked perfectly as needed. We were very fortunate in that we were the first guests following renovations after the 2024 hurricanes, so the floors, windows, tiles, everything was lovely. With stores and restaurants within 5 mins walk, we wanted for nothing. We were able to sleep with windows open - the area goes dead quiet at night, which was great. We enjoyed the pool a few times, which is clean and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable! Overall, we highly recommend Sandy Pointe. *Disclosure: review provided 03/8/2025*

Beautifully furnished, modern, clean apartment with everything (!) you need for a great vacation. The beach is a 5 minute walk and Publix, CVS and various small stores (including the best ice cream on the island) are just a block away.
We appreciated the beach chairs, the umbrella, pool noodles, and the beach cart.

Another Awesome Stay
This was our second stay at this condo in the last few months. We love everything about it! It is updated and beautifully furnished. Our favorite time of the day is enjoying the screened lanai with either our morning coffee or our evening glass of wine. It is a beautiful, peaceful view. The condo is close to the beach, trolley stop and many restaurants. It is so convenient for anything you want to do. We loved this condo because it had most of what we needed for our spring March vacation. Comfortable beds, complete kitchen, laundry set, nice furniture and a screen porch were all nice amenities. The 2 stall deep carport, with storage room leading to a quiet small pool area were definitely a plus. Our condo building was tucked away from a busy road that had a grocery, drug store, and a small strip mall, a quarter block from the beach.
