Description

Gulf View Cottage is exactly what its name suggests – a charming, cottage-style home with sweeping views of the Gulf from its rooftop deck. This rental has been recently renovated and features beautiful new interior amenities. This, coupled with its private, heated pool, and convenient location make it a perfect place to spend an adventurous vacation under Florida’s sun!

When you drive up to Gulf View Cottage, you’ll first notice the home’s unique shape, its large, sanded driveway, and the beautiful tropical plants that adorn its front yard space. Inside, you’ll walk into the common area of the home and see the dining room, kitchen, and an opening to the living room. The kitchen is stunning and expansive. It features beautiful granite countertops, a full suite of stainless steel appliances, and a kitchen island that doubles as a breakfast bar for two. The dining room, which you’ll see first when you enter the home, is lovely and offers guests a large dining table with seating for six. The living room is wonderful as it features a light blue couch, two matching wicker lounge chairs, and a flat-screen TV. The living room is flooded with natural light from the nearly wall-to-wall sliding glass doors to the backyard.

Exterior
Gulf View Cottage’s indoor amenities are matched by its outdoor amenities. This home has 2 outdoor decks. One extends off the upper level and features Adirondack chairs, a small table, and a bench. The other is the rooftop deck that has bar-height Adirondack chairs and a table and spectacular, 360° views of the surrounding Holmes Beach community and Gulf of Mexico. Additionally, there is a private, heated pool in the backyard which features an in-water sundeck and a small waterfall. The deck space that surrounds the pool is paved and has an outdoor dining set with an umbrella, other outdoor seating, and a lounge chair. 

Along with all of this, Gulf View Cottage is a 1-minute walk to the beach, giving guests premier access to the Gulf of Mexico and the white sand that Florida’s beaches are known for. It is also close to many local shops and restaurants and a drawbridge that allows for easy access to the mainland. Without question, Gulf View Cottage is an incredible rental perfect for guests with all kinds of vacation desires – from a private, heated pool and access to the beach, to the fun local spots in Holmes Beach that locals rave about! *Please note: you are vacationing in a residential area. This property requires a 7-night minimum stay as set forth by Holmes Beach’s Land Development Code. Occupancy may not exceed 10.

Anna Maria Island’s noise ordinance aims to ensure citizens can enjoy a peaceful environment. The ordinance applies to all areas of the city, including public and private property, and places of business. It defines noise as any sound that annoys or disturbs a reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities or causes or tends to cause an adverse physical or psychological effect on such reasonable person. The noise ordinance limits the maximum permissible noise levels to:

7 AM–10 PM: 65 decibels: (Consistently shouting in the pool exceeds 65 decibels)

10 PM–7 AM: 50 decibels: (An audible conversation from 50’ or 15 meters away exceeds 50 decibels)

The ordinance also prohibits plainly audible noise, which refers to any sound that can be clearly heard by a person using their normal hearing faculties. This means that a person can still be in violation if the noise can be easily heard by responding officers from a distance of 100 feet from the property line. Fines for excessive noise can range from $100 to $1,000.
