Anna Maria Island’s noise ordinance aims to ensure citizens can enjoy a peaceful environment. The ordinance applies to all areas of the city, including public and private property, and places of business. It defines noise as any sound that annoys or disturbs a reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities or causes or tends to cause an adverse physical or psychological effect on such reasonable person. The noise ordinance limits the maximum permissible noise levels to:
7 AM–10 PM: 65 decibels: (Consistently shouting in the pool exceeds 65 decibels)
10 PM–7 AM: 50 decibels: (An audible conversation from 50’ or 15 meters away exceeds 50 decibels)
The ordinance also prohibits plainly audible noise, which refers to any sound that can be clearly heard by a person using their normal hearing faculties. This means that a person can still be in violation if the noise can be easily heard by responding officers from a distance of 100 feet from the property line. Fines for excessive noise can range from $100 to $1,000.
Max Vehicles Allowed: 2 Max Day Guests Allowed: 2
Please be sure to obey all traffic laws and be sure you are parking in a permitted area if parking on the streets. If you park in a non-parking zone or against traffic, you will be ticketed.

We enjoyed our stay!
We enjoyed our stay. The beach items in the garage were appreciated. The beach access that we used at the end of 45th street was very easily accessible (mainly on the golf cart) and had a good amount of parking.

Great stay and great time!
We had a wonderful experience staying at this home. Check-in was easy with excellent communication. The home itself was very clean, pleasant, and well-equipped with everything you need to cook (we made most of our meals at home) plus a beach wagon, chairs, sand toys, balls, pool toys, etc. The beds were so comfortable! Our kids loved the bunk room and spent many hours in the pool; one even learned to swim on this trip. The hosts were very responsive and helpful the one time we had an issue. The advance email letting us know exactly what’s stocked in the house with quantities was very helpful! The house is on a quiet street but walking distance to the grocery store/pharmacy, restaurants, and beach. The only con that didn’t affect us but might affect non-family groups is the bathroom layout. Both bathrooms are on the top floor off of the bedrooms. One is accessed by the Master Bedroom, and one is accessed via the bunk room. The main floor bedroom doesn’t have an ensuite bathroom, and the bathroom on the main level is shared amongst the bedroom and the main living area. Some of our favorite trip activities included swimming at the beach (we walked a couple blocks south of Manatee beach to avoid the crowds), spending a morning at Bean Point, grabbing ice cream and walking by the Anna Maria City Pier, swimming in the pool, hiking at a nature reserve, walks, meals on the back porch, bike rides (bikes are not included with the house but you can rent them elsewhere), visiting the Ringling Museum and gardens, seeing the Mote Aquarium, and, a highlight for everyone, going on a private boat ride with Anna Maria Dolphin Tours to see dolphins and all sorts of other sea creatures. We had a perfect stay at this house, and all agreed it was our best family vacation ever. Highly recommended.

Fabulous Location
This house was perfect for our family Spring Break vacation. It is walking distance to the beach, plenty of shopping and restaurants, and the boat ramp. The heated pool and hot tub were fabulous day and evening. The beds are comfortable and the overall house is very clean and well cared for. The kitchen was stocked full of any cooking item you could need. The three patios are perfect for having morning coffee or enjoying the evening sunset. We ate many meals on the dinning patio overlooking the pool. The house manager was very attentive when we needed the propane tank swapped out for the gas grill. We will be back!
