Anna Maria Island’s noise ordinance aims to ensure citizens can enjoy a peaceful environment. The ordinance applies to all areas of the city, including public and private property, and places of business. It defines noise as any sound that annoys or disturbs a reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities or causes or tends to cause an adverse physical or psychological effect on such reasonable person. The noise ordinance limits the maximum permissible noise levels to:
7 AM–10 PM: 65 decibels: (Consistently shouting in the pool exceeds 65 decibels)
10 PM–7 AM: 50 decibels: (An audible conversation from 50’ or 15 meters away exceeds 50 decibels)
The ordinance also prohibits plainly audible noise, which refers to any sound that can be clearly heard by a person using their normal hearing faculties. This means that a person can still be in violation if the noise can be easily heard by responding officers from a distance of 100 feet from the property line. Fines for excessive noise can range from $100 to $1,000.

Perfect Vacation!
Catchin Rays.. absolute perfect location, lovely well cared for home and so spacious. Beautiful stone and tile baths located in the bedrooms The pool and hot tub were private, quiet and relaxing. Neighbors were friendly. Wi-Fi and so many viewing opportunities on television was a huge plus… not to mention viewing capabilities in each bedroom. This is our second time staying and would definitely like to return.

Don’t Judge a Book by Its Cover
When you see the pictures this house from the outside i s very deceiving. It appears much smaller in the photos but once you walk in you realize there is ample space for guests to be very comfortable. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms are generous in size and very comfortable! The kitchen and dining room are large for a nice crowd to cook together then play games at the dinning table until the wee hours. As far as location, it is just steps from the beach!!! Have it booked again!
We have stayed at this comfortable and lovely home before and have dates picked out for the coming year! The ample common spaces give plenty of room inside for spreading out and reading, and puzzle working, and watching t.v. The large dining table and massive island make eating and serving and cooking a breeze. The number of bedrooms and bathroom accommodations make large family stays non-problematic. And folks that’s all before you ever consider the backyard has a beautiful unground pool and a hot tub that flows into it! The outdoor furniture is the best quality pool furniture I’ve ever seen and it is the coziest set up vacation place we have ever stayed! Then you only have to walk across a street and very few steps to the most accommodating beach with a couple of benches where you enter to sit and take off your shoes and sink your feet into soft white sand. Relaxing, convenient, when can we go back?
Those are the words I hear from our family that has visited with us on our 2 trips to this beautiful space!! We love coming here! The kitchen and eating space is is big enough no one fights about cookin or eating space! Plenty of sleeping room! The pool in the back is great for when it’s too hot for the little ones at the beach. Everything seems to be just a short trip away for food, groceries and the beach. Fantastic vacation week at Catchin Rays
We had an outstanding week at 6801 Gulf Drive. This beautiful home easily accommodated 5 couples, we had ample space throughout the house & it was furnished with everything. The bedrooms, pool, kitchen, dining room, etc all were perfect for our large group of friends. The walk to the beautiful & clean beach took less than 5 minutes, being so close to it was a huge plus. It is obvious that the owners consistently strive to provide the best vacation experience possible for others & they certainly accomplished that! Our group cannot wait to return to Catchin Rays the first chance we get. I’m also looking forward to a family trip there. A Little Bit of Paradise!
It's obvious the owner have take a great deal of thought on amenities and decor. It was equipped with things I didn't know i needed until I needed them, better equipped than my own kitchen! Plenty of room to stretch out in and very comfortable. About 100 yards to a large beach with soft, powdery sand and plenty of room, even on busy days it didn't seem crowded. My granddaughter LOVED the pool! she picked it over the beach a couple of times. Our 1st time visiting Anna Marie Island, I couldn't have asked for a better location or place to stay. This Place is Paradise with NEW comfy beds!
This home is five star all the way! From the short block to the beach, to the amazing hot tub/pool combo, but now it’s been decked out with the best new bedding in three of the four rooms!! This is the place for families, friends, and FUN!! It has everything g you need in kitchen ware and all the room you could want and we were a group of six adults and three kids. Perfectly Inviting!
This gem was absolutely PERFECT for our annual couples getaway! Want to go out to dinner? You can feel free to drive or take a short walk to many places. Want to stay in? The kitchen has everything you would ever think you may need & more! They even labeled the cabinets/drawers. Very helpful!! 4 bedrooms with a total of 5 beds with each room having its own bathroom - VERY nice! The decor is cute & the place is even better in person than the already great pictures show. We were able to seat all 9 of us at the kitchen table to play games at night (we brought ours but they have a nice selection of those too) We were able to do laundry when we wanted throughout the week along with taking our clothes home clean. The private pool with the hot tub was fantastic for hanging out at night. The quick beach access was just across the street. 100/10 Will stay here again! Posted: 03/20/2022A:Unfortunately, Island Real Estate Vacations cannot guarantee there will be any beach chairs, umbrellas or toys at your vacation rental property. However, if upon arrival you find there are chairs, etc. then you are welcome to enjoy them. Some guests leave items behind and some owners will purchase an inventory of fun beach equipment a few times a year.
Too often these items get left behind on the beach, broken, etc. so there really is no way for us to know what is there from week to week. We suggest you check in, take a look around the property to see what is there that you would like to use and then if you feel you want something extra pick it up at a local shop or rent just about anything from Fun and More or Beach Bum’s (info below).
