Anna Maria Island’s noise ordinance aims to ensure citizens can enjoy a peaceful environment. The ordinance applies to all areas of the city, including public and private property, and places of business. It defines noise as any sound that annoys or disturbs a reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities or causes or tends to cause an adverse physical or psychological effect on such reasonable person. The noise ordinance limits the maximum permissible noise levels to:
7 AM–10 PM: 65 decibels: (Consistently shouting in the pool exceeds 65 decibels)
10 PM–7 AM: 50 decibels: (An audible conversation from 50’ or 15 meters away exceeds 50 decibels)
The ordinance also prohibits plainly audible noise, which refers to any sound that can be clearly heard by a person using their normal hearing faculties. This means that a person can still be in violation if the noise can be easily heard by responding officers from a distance of 100 feet from the property line. Fines for excessive noise can range from $100 to $1,000.
Please be sure to obey all traffic laws and be sure you park in a permitted area if parking on the streets. If you park in a non-parking zone or against traffic, you will be ticketed

Spotless getaway retreat
We chose this spot as a base for exploring AMI and it was perfect. Such a nice relaxing break in a spotless home from home. Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The house itself was immaculately clean and bright and spacious. The grounds and pool were well tended and comfortable. Sheets and towels were luxuriously soft. Our kids had so much fun enjoying the games in the game room and we enjoyed the privacy of the beautiful master suite. And you can not find a more beautiful beach for a family to enjoyy! Amazing experience
We rented this house for a family holiday to Anna Maria. The house is presented in a clean contemporary fashion. All rooms are spotlessly clean and well furnished. The main bathroom is recently remodeled & both bathrooms have fantastic showers. Kitchen is well stocked with glassware & crockery & plenty of storage. 3 bedrooms have good linen and the ac works well. The private pool is a great feature & we used it every day after a long day on the beautiful gulf beach literally a few steps from the front door! There are lots of great restaurants & shops close to the house. The beach is Fantastic and the house has beach supplies & beach towels for your use .
