Joe’s Eat’s and Sweet’s Is a Great Stop in Bradenton Beach – CLOSED

Unfortunately, Joe’s Eats & Sweets is Closed

A must visit many tell us at Island Real Estate.  There is no question their home made ice cream is great and their sundaes are even better.  Joe’s has won several local and larger awards for their fantastic ice cream.  The second level ice cream shop has vies of the Gulf of Mexico with parking under the building.

In addition to some of the best ice cream on Anna Maria Island, Joe’s also offers freshly ground coffee, herbal teas, hot dogs, chili dogs, milk shakes, candy, soft drinks and cookies.  They have home made fudge and ship it all over the nation.   In addition, they offer several Sucrose Free varieties of ice cream.

If you are visiting Anna Maria Island then stop in at Joe’s for some Eat’s and Sweet’s.  I love the sundaes with lots of peanut butter variations.  If you are like me and love peanut butter then Joe’s is a great stop for a great sundae or peanut butter cookie withsome vanilla ice cream off to the side.  With an ice cream cone in hand go walk the beach for a grea sunset or Bridge street for some window shopping.

  1. Ice cream is really good but it is very expensive. For one scoop on a waffle cone, 2 scoops on a waffle cone, and 1 scoop in a dish with a small squirt of hot fudge it was $16!

  2. Ice cream was great! Perfect after a day at the beach!
Left my driver’s license there and they went out of their way to mail it to me! I will return when back in Sarasota area….Thank You!!

    1. Hi Kate –

Thank s for your comment … Glad to hear that you had a great experience at Joes Eats and Sweets… We love to go there after a day at the beach as well; the Blue Moon ice cream is my favorite!

  3. Joe’s is a great place to get ice cream and I was excited to find they had gluten free options. Just one suggestions, get a separate waffle iron for your gluten free cones. Their not really gluten free unless you do that. If I am in the area, I will definitely visit them again. Yum!

  4. Hi. I called today to see if you’d found a camera that I think I left there. I was in on monday, April 1st. in the afternoon. My Canon Power Shot SD 1200 was in a little black case with a little pink cloth attached to clean my lens. Should you find it, I’d be VERY appreciative.

  5. I have been here several time and yes, the ice cream is good but all of the signs that are posted around the place, For instance, ” if you make a mess in the bathroom, clean it up!” Have your order ready before you get to the counter! These are two of about 10 signs posted around the place.

I feel like I am in the Soup Nazi’s restaurant!!! They are written on little sticky notes and posted everywhere! Not a very pleasant experience…I now go to Big Olaf’s down the road where I can relax a little and not worry that I might do something I’m not supposed to do…and yes, of course, if I make a mess I know to clean it up! I don’t have to have a note to remind me to do so!

    1. Hi Kelly –

Sorry to hear that you did not have a pleasant experience at Joe’s Eat’s and Sweet’s. Every time I have ever been there I have gotten great service, and tasty ice cream treats in a fun atmosphere!

      Thank you for your comment!
