Tingley Memorial Library
The Tingley Memorial Library in Bradenton Beach (also known as the Bradenton Beach Public Library) is one of two libraries on Anna Maria Island. Tingley Memorial Library is a privately funded non-profit organization existing on donations and volunteer help, and is independent of the county library system. Tingley Memorial Library is located two blocks south of the Cortez Bridge, just off of gulf drive behind Bradenton Beach City Hall.
This Library has all of the current and popular reading materials, children’s books, audio books, videos, tourist information, free wireless access, computers with internet access for you to use, and much more. The library is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10a.m. to 3p.m.
The Island Branch Library
The Island Branch Library in Holmes Beach is the second of the two libraries on Anna Maria Island. Located at 5701 Marina Drive the Island Branch Library is one of six locations in Manatee County’s Library System that serve the public. The Manatee County Public Library System seeks to offer all citizens of Manatee County a responsive, proactive, innovative program of library service, capable of upgrading the educational, cultural, and recreational quality of life in the community.
The Island Branch Library is a full service library system that has computers with internet access for you to use, a large collection of books, periodicals, newspapers, video and audio materials and much more. This library also has a full range of activities and meeting rooms available for public use.
Meet Larry Chatt. Larry is the Broker/Owner of Island Real Estate – and has owned Anna Maria Island investment property while residing in New England, Ohio, Colorado, Iowa and across Europe. He and his family have been on the island for decades and Larry has served his community in various roles with the Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce
