Josh was born and raised outside of Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to Colorado to attend Regis University in Denver, where he earned a BA in Business and Economics. After graduation Josh moved to the mountains and lived the Colorado dream, working on Vail Ski Patrol in the winter and teaching tennis when the snow melted. It was there that Josh met his wife Beth, and they married in 1992. After the birth of his first two children Josh received his Real Estate Brokers license, and began to sell resort real estate with Slifer, Smith, and Frampton. In 2000, Josh took an opportunity to move to Fripp Island, South Carolina, where he gained more experience selling real estate. In 2004, yearning to be closer to family, Josh and his family (now 3 kids), made the move to AMI. Originally with Michael Saunders Real Estate new homes division, Josh joined Betsy Hills Real Estate in 2007, and became a part of the Island Real Estate family in 2010. 

Josh is an avid athlete, playing and teaching tennis and pickleball at the Anna Maria Community Center, windsurfs and fishes, volunteers, a member of Roser Church, and he encourages the same in his family.
