Anna Maria Island – The 8th Annual ArtsHop 2014 celebration is just around the corner on the weekend of November 7th-9th.

Spanning all three cities of Anna Maria Island, the weekend begins with a tour of the various art galleries and shops across Anna Maria Island as listed below.

Artists Guild Gallery – 5414 Marina Drive
The Mission of the Artists’ Guild of Anna Maria Island is to educate, promote and encourage cultural and charitable artistic endeavor. Their membership—100 plus artists and supporters of the arts—arrange exhibits, shows, and other means to further local art in the community and surrounding areas. Giving Back is its name, apropos of the shop’s purpose – All proceeds go to charity. A great example of pooling resources to meet the needs of the community. Giving back will feature painted furniture and photography.

Art League of Anna Maria Island – 5312 Holmes Boulevard
The art league offers studio space and classes, as well as a gallery for their member artists, plus two amazing art festivals each year: Winterfest and Springfest. DON PULVER, Oils & Acrylics Artist, Exhibits “The World in Art” as November artsHOP Featured Artist at Island Gallery West Don Pulver has been named November Featured Artist at the gallery. His vibrant oil and acrylic paintings will be featured in a month-long exhibit “The World in Art.” A public reception honoring Mr. Pulver will be held at the gallery on Friday, November 7, 5-8 PM, as part of the Island-wide 8th annual artsHOP Gallery Walk. The Islander Sidebar Gallery includes a collection of work by numerous local and national artists for sale, as well as Caribbean paintings by friends of the ministry in Haiti. There will be a store raffle, refreshments and other surprises.

Anna Maria Island’s cultural art gallery and event facility, The Studio at Gulf and Pine, offers an eclectic array of exhibits, instructional classes, lectures and the Einstein Circle and serves as a salon where artists and art aficionados interact. Founded by former First Lady of Florida, Rhea Chiles, part of the Studio’s permanent collection consists of the Chiles family collection of paintings which hung in the governor’s office. BRADENTON BEACH- Sunday, November 9th 10am – 3pm

The Bradenton Beach Bridge Street Merchants will host an upbeat, unique Bridge Street ArtWalk Sunday November 9th 10am-3pm including an outdoor market with live music and merchants on the street. Get your Bridge Street Passport for a chance at the grand prize.
