Legacy Golf Club is a short trip from Lakewood Ranch Main Street. Actually only a single traffic light east, and you may catch a glimpse of Hole #3 and #4 from the miniature golf course located on Main Street.
Legacy Golf Club at Lakewood Ranch is an Arnold Palmer designed course that will test your skills. You will find 18 holes of golf that are sure to leave you with a new found appreciation for course design and the beauty of the area. Hole #17 (shown above) is an island green that will leave you searching for another ball if you come up short or blast it too far.
Golf rates in 2013 run $49 on weekdays and $55 on weekends including cart through October.

The Sarasota Film Society has a direct say on which movies to show, and has been involved in the operation since the December 2006 opening. Join the World Famous Wallendas at Mixon Farms for amazing high wire feats. The Orange Blossom Celebration will run from 9am-5pm Saturday March 2, 2013 and Sunday March 3, 2013. A notable accomplishment of the group is Nik Wallenda was the first aerialist to cross over Niagara Falls on a high wire.
They will be performing on both days of the event at 10am, 12pm, and 3pm.

Mixon Fruit Farms’ Annual Orange Blossom Celebration Festival will be taking place in Bradenton on March 2-3, 2013. The 2 day festival will run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on both days and features kid’s rides and activities, tram tours, and live entertainment. If you’re interested in getting a tour of the Mixon Fruit Farms then take a ride on one of the tram tours running during the festival! Look for the Wildlife Rescue featuring a large brown grizzly bear to catch a ride.

The Starfire Dancers will be performing at the Mixon Orange Blossom Festival on Saturday March 2, 2013 and Sunday March 3, 2013. The dancers have won various national distinctions for their talents including having multiple Gold and High Gold medal winners, as well as a platinum medal winner!
Their performances can be seen at Mixon Fruit Farms in Bradenton at 12:30 & 1:30 on both days.

They will be performing both days of the Orange Blossom Celebration at Mixon Fruit Farms in Bradenton, FL in typical hippy fashion. Fabulous blues musician Jeff Strahan is coming to Bradenton Friday, March 1, 2013.
Formerly a lawyer, Strahan now lives for the stage and has adapted his look to the lifestyle as well. No longer sporting a business haircut he lets his locks flow long and proud. He has placed within the top 50 on multiple music charts reaching #38 on the Top 50 Blues Charts (Roots Music Report) and #11 on the Texas Chart (Roots Music Report) for his studio release “Blue ‘Til I Die.”
Ace’s Lounge is a no-smoking venue, and this event will be 21+. Jeff Strahan will take stage at 9pm and there is a $5 cover.
