Peach’s which specializes in Breakfast is located in Holmes Beach and provides basic breakfasts as well as some fancy stuff too. Rod and Reel Pier Restaurant serves a fantastic breakfast as well and the views of the bay are phenomenal.

Tyler’s ice cream is just off the island on Cortez. Two Scoops is located in Anna Maria, and so is Dip’s, Joe’s Eats and Sweets is in Bradenton Beach. For a desert experience to remember, try the Euphemia Haye Restaurant which has unique pies, cheesecakes, and too many deserts to remember. Just off the island is Cold Stone Creamery which serves gourmet ice cream hand mixed with your choice of mixins. If your taste buds are screaming for a milk shake then the Shake Pit is a great bet.

If you are still looking for the Anna Maria Island “feel,” try Cortez Kitchen or Starfish Company as well as Anna Maria Oyster Bar. Tequila BeachSport Grill, Atlanta Bread Company, Sweet Berries Frozen Custard Eatery, Marina’s Restaurant and The Mexican-Cuban Restaurant are all conveniently located on Manatee Avenue. Always a favorite with the kids is of course Chuck E. Cheese. For a quick Mexican take out try Chipotle in Bradenton.

Applebee’s welcomes you to the neighborhood and is a great family restaurant with an added bonus of late night fun where you can be a star. They have paired karaoke nights with their awesome service and affordable delicious food. The karaoke is family friendly, but usually attracts a more adult crowd since it starts at 10PM.

You will never miss a game of almost any sport because they have almost 50 flat screen Hi-Def TVs just about anywhere you look. If the one near you isn’t on a game you are interested in you can ask your wait staff to change it, but be mindful the guy behind you might’ve been watching that game.

Applebee’s isn’t just a run of the mill restaurant they have some of the best chefs in America working on constantly updating their menu. Here is a little information about their lead culinary expert: Chef Shannon Johnson (Executive Director, Culinary Innovation & Development) – is responsible for directing food development, ingredient and product improvement, campaign menu tasting and seasonal menu development support. He and his team bring you the latest and greatest in regional and seasonal menu items.

Applebee’s has a wide variety on their menu including a section for people on Weight Watcher’s. They recommend you try their NEW asiago peppercorn steak or the bourbon street steak skillets. My preference though is anything on the 2 for $20 menu. This is where a couple can share an appetizer and two separate entrees for only $20, and with the 2-4-1 happy hour all day everyday it would be a waste of money to not stop in to your “neighborhood”.

Clancy’s Irish Sports Pub and Grill is Bradenton’s biggest and best tiki bar and your hot spot for live music, karaoke, cocktails and more! Their one of a kind open-air tiki bar and tavern is home to numerous Bradenton-area events, including Monday through Friday Happy Hour Special from 4-7pm, Wednesday and Thursday karaoke, and NFL Sundays in front of our large-screen TV’s.

When it comes to food, they match quality with quantity – their portions are HUGE! Try the Manatee County area’s best Reuben, the mega-sized calzones, or Clancy’s authentic Cuban sandwich that won Mayor’s Choice Award.

This place is all about food, fun and fabulous people! I have found out from experience with this pub to not judge a restaurant by the way it looks on the outside. I was nicely surprised the first time I went inside that everywhere you look there are smiling faces, people having nothing but fun and making memories. Kickback and unwind with a cold cocktail, catch up with an old friend, or make a new one. They’re fun, relaxed, and casual, and they treat customers like family. Can’t beat that!

Clancy’s has something going on every night of the week, and hire some of the best local talent that I have ever heard! Some of my favorites that I never miss are as follows:

1. Kettel of Fish – a local acoustic and rhythm group that has their roots in funk and jazz. The dreamy vocals of Dana Lawrence are just one of the many things you will enjoy about this group.

2. Katalyst – a hard rock group that’s blazing guitars, and screaming vocals will get your heart rate going, and distress you like no other anger white boy music can.

3. Cherry Bombs – even though they look like hard rockers they favor many of my 80’s favorites, and I love the fact that they have a female lead singer!

Clancy’s Bar is open daily from 9 am to 2 am. They are conveniently located on Cortez Road, just minutes from Anna Maria, Bradenton, and Holmes Beaches, and a short drive from Ellenton and Palmetto. Stop by and see why they’re Bradenton’s top-rated sports bar and Irish pub!

Rasher Tierney’s is a locally owned Irish pub that serves delicious food and drinks, plus offers great entertainment. They have a unique atmosphere that is a great place to unwind, and are one of the only Irish pubs around. Whether you are in the mood for a cheeseburger and beer or want to play a game of darts with your buddies this is the place to be.

My Irish background cannot be without my Irish Pub! I have been to Ireland, and Rashers definitely rivals even the oldest pubs across the pond. They offer many different kinds of imported beer including Guinness! I can tell you from first hand experience it is the best Guinness in town. The bartenders know how to “build” a proper pint.

Don’t forget to sample the Irish pub grub while you listen to some local talent. A few of my favorites are the traditional Shepherd’s pie, the beef stew or the fish and chips! I can tell you though that you will not go wrong with anything on their menu.

As far as entertainment there is something for everyone! Most nights you will find live music by a local group playing until about 10PM in the front smoke free restaurant/pub. Then after 10PM in the back room on Wednesday it is ladies night where ladies drink free from 10PM until midnight with a great DJ spinning dance music, a pool table and dart boards. Also you don’t want to miss the karaoke on Tuesday nights from 10PM to 2AM where you too can be a star. Thinking you are a good singer then you may want to head there when they are having one of their karaoke contests where the grand prize is $500!

Rashers is locally owned, family operated, and has something for everyone! You will find it nestled in Bradenton on US 41 on your way South to Sarasota.
