Anna Maria Island Library Craft Classes

mwk2The public Island Library often hosts free classes informing islanders and visitors of all ages, on arts and crafts. Some of their upcoming topics include origami and knitting. The library hosts an origami class every second Saturday of the month led by Judy Pruitt. All ages are welcome and no supplies are needed for this free class on the ancient art of Japanese paper folding. Ms. Pruitt demonstrates different origami designs of varying difficulty for newcomers and veterans alike. The knitting class is led by a devoted group of women who meet regularly to share their knowledge and help novices begin knitting projects. They also are happy to answer any questions, or just provide a friendly place to practice your craft. Both classes are free.3d_origami_swan_by_panamapaperfolding-d3ew7x3
