Enjoy the latest comedy at the Island Players theatre

Anna Maria – The comedy “Dearly Departed” will be performed by the Island Players from January 22nd through February 8th and you won’t want to miss it. Dearly Departed is a comedy set in the bible belt about the Turpin family, a group of people who prove that living, dying and dealing with it in the south can be hilarious.

Director Kelly Woodland will be working with a 12 person cast of veterans and newcomers. Returning actors include Cathy Hansel-Edgerton as Raynelle, Jeannie Hudkins as Lucille, Jennifer Eddy as Suzanne, Robin Rhodes as Marguerite, Mike Lusk as Royce and Lora Morales as Veda. The newcomers are Joseph Mammina as Junior, Jalex Scott as Delightful/Clyde, Tod Butler as Reverend Hooker/Norval, Bethany Dhennin as Nadine and Janet Raines as Juanita.

The Island Players theatre is located at 10009 Gulf Drive at the corner fo Gulf Drive and Pine Avenue. Performances are taking place Tuesday through Saturday at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm.
