Silhouetts at Sunset ~ 2~18~11 ~ Strolling Through Sunbeams

Anna Maria Island Sunset Ride

Have you ever watched someone walk through the sunbeam just before sunset as the light dances across the gulf on Anna Maria Island? Many of my subjects are caught passing through the sun’s rays and become almost motionless for just a brief moment. Right now we are seeing weather in the upper 70’s to low 80’s and our sunsets have been nothing less than spectacular this week. When you have gazed at as many sunsets as I have you are taught many life lessons as you become one with nature. Have you ever noticed that you cannot rush a sunset? We come to the sunset and must let it’s timing be ours. It is so aligned with the heavens that it is possible to know the exact cycle of the sunset and the moon. As you experience the sun setting over Anna Maria Island you understand that you must wait for the very well timed second for it to drop out of sight. Patience is a lesson we are constantly going back to school to learn. If you absorb nature and let it be your teacher perhaps we will respect our lesson and accept what we cannot control and just be at peace with that. Just as you cannot cause a rose to open without ruining it’s beauty and symmetry, neither can you hasten the sun to set ahead of it’s perfect timing. Each and every night is a new production displayed by nature. For those who have traveled far and wide to enrich their lives on this beautiful Island they will leave with the beauty that only nature can provide…walk back in time once again. Walk on the beaches of Anna Maria Island and as always…enjoy our peaceful sunsets!
