It is always so exciting when you greet folks from places very far away. I just spent time in my office speaking very broken German to visitors who were renting on Anna Maria Island. Then when out taking shots of sunsets I met Sweden visitors who are here staying with a local named Joan. They did not really understand what a blog was but they took my card knowing they would appear in some kind of pictures on the internet. So I share with you another sunset night. It was not my best photos of sunset but the people make the difference.
It did not matter how bright and perfect the sun was as it was setting but more important was who was sharing the sunset on this particular night! This night started with a double rainbow at Publix. I just happened to have my camera. Then as I approached the beach the sun was still two hours from setting but there was a storm brewing and rain was coming down in the west. It made for some beautiful skies but just not the perfect sunset, this particular night.
This was still a night to see the energy of nature on Anna Maria Island. From double rainbows to dark clouds it was all about nature as it is every night when you walk the white sands and azure waters of one of the most beautiful places on earth. Why would you go anywhere else? This Island has it all! Please click on the pictures and enlarge them to get a much better view.
