If you are looking for a family friendly English Pub then don’t any further than The Firkin and Fox Pub located about 15 minutes from Anna Maria Island. With a wonderful relaxed atmosphere, great food, good service and no smoking this is one Pub you have to try!
To see this place from the outside it looks small, but once you are inside there is nothing but room to relax and enjoy with your family! The staff is very friendly, and loved my daughter the first time we went there for dinner. The next time we were there we got the same server, and she remembered my daughter’s name. I can tell you that that was the height of the evening – she was thrilled!
The food was so good that even my three year old picky eater cleaned her plate. They have a very traditional Irish/American menu with everything from chicken wings to fish and chips. You have to try their Bangers, Beans and Mash or the Knife & Fork “Chicago Style” hotdog! Never fear they have lighter fare as well. Maybe you’d prefer a baby spinach salad or Quesadillas? They have both on their very large menu!

There is something for everyone at this pub. They have billiards, darts and a game room if you are looking for something to do while watching the game or to entertain the kids. There is also a private party room for any special occasion. Sometimes during the winter season they will have family friendly karaoke, and even the occasional contest for monetary prizes! You have to add Firkin & Fox to your places to go! You will not be disappointed.
