Rasher Tierney’s is a locally owned Irish pub that serves delicious food and drinks, plus offers great entertainment. They have a unique atmosphere that is a great place to unwind, and are one of the only Irish pubs around. Whether you are in the mood for a cheeseburger and beer or want to play a game of darts with your buddies this is the place to be.
My Irish background cannot be without my Irish Pub! I have been to Ireland, and Rashers definitely rivals even the oldest pubs across the pond. They offer many different kinds of imported beer including Guinness! I can tell you from first hand experience it is the best Guinness in town. The bartenders know how to “build” a proper pint.
Don’t forget to sample the Irish pub grub while you listen to some local talent. A few of my favorites are the traditional Shepherd’s pie, the beef stew or the fish and chips! I can tell you though that you will not go wrong with anything on their menu.
As far as entertainment there is something for everyone! Most nights you will find live music by a local group playing until about 10PM in the front smoke free restaurant/pub. Then after 10PM in the back room on Wednesday it is ladies night where ladies drink free from 10PM until midnight with a great DJ spinning dance music, a pool table and dart boards. Also you don’t want to miss the karaoke on Tuesday nights from 10PM to 2AM where you too can be a star. Thinking you are a good singer then you may want to head there when they are having one of their karaoke contests where the grand prize is $500!
Rashers is locally owned, family operated, and has something for everyone! You will find it nestled in Bradenton on US 41 on your way South to Sarasota.
