From beach café’s to fine dining Anna Maria Island has it all! I took the Free Anna Maria Island Trolley around the island in search of my top ten favorite restaurants. I found that I like almost every restaurant on Anna Maria Island, and here are my top ten…

#2 The Sign of the Mermaid is a fantastic Restaurant with a very homey feel, they also have award winning key lime pie or as I say the best key lime pie in the world.
#3The Sandbar Restaurant located in Anna Maria come in from the beach grab a cold drink and relax, or sit down with your family and have a great meal right on the beach, The Sandbar offers both indoor and outdoor dining.
#4 Hurricane Hanks Pub & Grub located in the S&S plaza in Holmes Beach has a full liquor bar and a variety of sandwiches and dinner entree’s to choose from. They always have a sports game on and a staff ready to meet your needs.
#5 Mr Bones located on gulf drive in Holmes Beach has by far the best BBQ on Anna Maria Island and in my opinion the best baby back ribs in the country.
#6 Rotten Ralph’s on Historic Bridge Street in Bradenton Beach has magnificent views of the Sarasota Bay and is one of my most favorite places for breakfast.
#7 Anna Maria City Pier located at the very north end of the island has breath taking views of Tampa Bay and the Skyway Bridge. They have a full bar and plenty of food choices the city pier has a very relaxed atmosphere and you can go fishing while you are there.
#8 The waterfront Restaurant located across the street from the Anna Maria City Pier has great food, elegant micro brew and wine in a relaxed tropical atmosphere.
#9 The Bridgetender Inn and Dockside Bar located on Historic Bridge Street in Bradenton Beach offers indoor and outdoor dining as well as the bar room with live music and beautiful views of the Sarasota Bay.
#10 Sharkey’s Seagrill located on gulf drive in Bradenton Beach is fine dining in a casual atmosphere best known for tasty steaks and fresh seafood.
And the bonus tip is, after you have had dinner at any of our tasty Anna Maria Island Restaurants head down to Joe’s Eats and Sweets on Gulf Drive just south of Bridge Street in Bradenton Beach and grab a treat, try the Blue Moon Ice Cream it’s my favorite.
