Meet John and Nan, the owners of Anna Maria’s newest coffee shop The Divine Caffe. When Nan convinced John to move somewhere warm because she hated Michigan winters he said “pick a beach” and the rest is history! Arriving on Anna Maria Island in July of last year, John and Nan had their coffee shop in Holmes Beach up and running by mid-September. Divine Caffe has a menu that will satisfy the coffee drinker in you. Featuring a “Signature Series” of lattes, frappes, and smoothies that they’ve developed after many years in the coffee business.
John’s coffee drinks are guaranteed to rock your world! All of the coffee and espresso drinks are organic and prices range from $1.00 cups of organic coffee, to their #1 frappe “the Jacobs Java” for $4.95 with 3 shots of espresso in it. The salads have 11 ingredients and come with John’s homemade balsamic vinegar dressing. The wraps and fresh baked goods are guaranteed to win you over for lunch as well, and don’t forget to try one of John’s homemade lemon bars!
Divine Caffe Coffee shop is located Inside Vitamin Seas Health Foods in the Walgreens Plaza. Open Monday – Friday from 7am to 5pm and on Saturdays 8am – 4pm.

We have just returned from an enjoyable holiday on Anna Maria. we were delighted to find the Divine Coffee shop which has opened since our last trip. Top class Cappuccinos were expertley made for us. Very nice people, very pleasant company and excellent coffee.
