Sandy’s Getaway, tucked away at 122 Peppertree, offers spacious and peaceful place to escape to right in the heart of Anna Maria City.


Up to nine guests can spend a week, month, or long weekend unwinding at this vacation rental property.  (3) Bedroom, (2) Bathroom, accommodates up to (9) people: 2 Queens, 1 Twin, 1 Trundle Bed, 2 Sleeper SofaAnd that does include the family dog! Canine members of the family, up to 30 lbs, are welcome (with a fee).


A vacation rental as fun and fabulous as this should be enjoyed by everyone from the charming, designer quality furnishings and fixtures inside to a shady covered deck outside. The Gulf of Mexico is close enough that you might even be able to hear the distant crashing of salty waves on a quiet evening. Which is the perfect background noise to an Anna Maria Island sunset.


This elevated vacation rental is three bedrooms of classic Florida style. The sunshine glows off hardwood floors and that laid back, coastal sensibility is present in all the décor. A queen sized mattress is available in the master bedroom with a twin and trundle in the second and third guest bedrooms.


Please NOTE: Sandy’s Getaway is a duplex which contains a two bedroom on the second floor and one bedroom in a separate, ground level. Access is reached by walking down a set of outdoor stairs. But this does insure completely privacy if you’re staying in the downstairs unit – a perfect pick for Mom and Dad on your next Florida family vacation. A small living area, TV, and private bathroom are available in the downstairs unit and full-sized washer and dryer are also accessible from the outside. A propane grill can be found on the deck to cook up burgers, franks, kabobs or even the catch of the day!


Everyone will enjoy getting together in the great room – the kitchen is open with a spacious island to hold a buffet of your favorite vacation foods. And it opens up into the living room with an extra wide, wall mounted flat screen. There is also wireless internet available throughout the vacation rental to keep you in touch with everyone back home. Try not to make them feel too jealous though – it’s pretty easy to brag about life on Anna Maria Island.

Great news, this property welcomes ANY DAY arrivals in “non-peak” seasons.  However, over most US holidays and during January-Easter the calendar is strictly SAT-SAT.


 


Please note: we may sometimes gladly accept non Saturday to Saturday stays from middle of August to middle of January each year excluding Christmas and New Year week. Please speak with a vacation specialist for more details.

Gem in the Rough

"I stayed here with my two daughters and their baby sons in November, 2014. The location of the house was conveniently across the street from the trolley stop and a short walk down the street to a beautiful beach. The house is located on the corner of Peppertree and the main road. I imagine that, with the AC on, one would not notice the traffic. The house was decorated pleasantly, both upstairs and in the ground-level unit. One window in the master bedroom would not stay up and needed a dowel to hold it up. One of the windows in the LR, once opened, would not close. One of the sliding doors to the deck was difficult to open and close, and did not have a working locking mechanism. This was very quickly remedied with one phone call. I called this house a "gem in the rough." It is in a lovely area of Anna Maria on a well-kept street. It is near the trolley stop and close to the Gulf beach. The setup of the house is great, with the main living space upstairs, and the studio apartment downstairs (We put my daughter with her infant in the studio apartment downstairs!). The rental agency, Island Real Estate, was a pleasure to work with and responded very promptly to my telephone call. I would certainly seek their services again. For a multitude of reasons, my daughters and I liked the property and we hope that the mentioned issues will be addressed so that "Sandy's Getaway" can live up to her potential. If so, we would have no problem selecting that house again for an Anna Maria vacation."
