The Holidays are upon us, Thanksgiving is over and it’s time to get ready for Christmas.  The Holiday Season is always a blast on Anna Maria Island with lots of activities happening all through December.  Here is a list of just some of the events coming up this month, starting with the Holmes Beach Parade & Open House on Friday at 5:00 p.m.

Fri. 12/3

Holmes Beach Parade & Open House

5pm Parade starts at Crosspointe Baptist to the Chamber of Commerce, where they will light the tree, then the Holmes Beach merchants will have their holiday Open House till 9pm.  Santa will be there, and in the past there was some really cool fake snow.

Sat & Sun 12/4 &5

Holiday decorated home with drinks & snacks 

10am-4pm Holiday Decorator Show House by The Rotary Club $10 a ticket!

Sat – (6pm-9pm Anna Maria Concert Chorus & Orchestra will host Taste of Music Holiday Gala there for additional fee)

Sun – (3pm drawing for 7 day Holland America cruise on Sun)

Fri 12/10

Anna Maria Merchant Open House/Walk About

5pm – 7pm Pine Ave and surrounding area merchants will host The Holiday Open House.

Visit 8 locations and put your ticket in the raffle for a goodie basket!

Live music, refreshments, and Santa all in the same place!

Last day to sign up for Santa’s visit

12/18 at the Moose Lodge for children 10 & under.

Privateers Island Parade

10am starting a Bay Front Park in Anna Maria all the way to Coquina Beach,  Santa will be waiting at the end for pictures and holiday fun on the Pirate Boat.

Sat 12/18

1-3pm Santa visits the Moose Lodge

110 Gulf Dr Bradenton Beach.

Lunch, games, Santa & Mrs. Claus pass out gifts.

Sat 12/18

3pm-7pm Christmas on Bridge Street

Bradenton Beach Santa & Mrs. Claus, music and festivities.

After Dark…lighted boat parade off the Historic Bridge Street Pier.
