This Friday October 29TH is the 8TH Annual Trail of Treats on Anna Maria Island. Trail of Treats is a safe alternative for children of all ages to trick or treat. The Trail of Treats will take you on a Halloween adventure through Anna Maria Island, stopping at participating businesses in Bradenton Beach, Holmes Beach, and The City of Anna Maria.
We will kick off the festivities at the Holmes Beach Chamber of Commerce on Friday October 29TH at 3:30 p.m. The Holmes Beach Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a costume contest from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. There will be 1ST, 2ND, and 3RD place prices for all categories and age groups. The Trail for Treats in Holmes Beach is from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and for those of us that like a good scare Anna Maria Island Health and Fitness Center will be having a Haunted House from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
After Trick or Treating, and family fun at the Haunted House in Holmes Beach, the trail continues. You will decide your fate, head north to the City of Anna Maria and fill your bags with candy along Pine Avenue. Or head south down to Historic Bridge Street in Bradenton Beach. Starting at 5:00 p.m. until the Halloween party stops, come get candy and treats all up and down Bridge Street. The Fishing Hole Adventure Golf is offering 50% off for kids in costume and all parents. The Back Alley will have live music, and all participating businesses will be ready to hand out lots of candy until 9:00 p.m.
Get out the old costume, make sure the kids have their new costumes, and join us for the Halloween Fun on Anna Maria Island. Trail of Treats has local sponsors that have donated candy, and prizes. The Privateers will be out in their pirate gear to help make sure that everyone is safe and has a great time.
