Kayak Tour Information

If you do not have your own equipment for kayaking, it can be provided for you. Kayak, paddle, personal flotation device, and other safety equipment is all available free of charge to you, but we suggest rsvp’ing or calling ahead of time to make sure there is still enough space in the tours as it is limited.

The tour along the Manatee River gives a perspective of the bountiful wildlife in our area not commonly seen from nature hikes along trails. You can experience the area as the Native Americans and Spanish Conquistadors might have seen it while learning about how they used the waterways for transportation and food.

  1. We enjoyed our kayak tour. Ranger Steven did a great job explaining the area were kayaking around. He talk about the plants and the creature sip living in the area. How the monument and cross meant. For an hour and a half . It was a very well educated tour.
