While services below focus on transport from the Tampa International, other Florida airports are also serviced. Sarasota/Bradenton airport is so close to Anna Maria Island most visitors grab a taxi. However, many options are now available.

Anna Maria Isle Transportation
This vendor has been a Member of the Chamber of Commerce since 2008. They offer clean non smoking Lincoln’s and Cadillacs too. Car and booster seats are provided at no extra cost for children. Cartier Limousine Services
Cartier is a member of the Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce. They offer airport transportation as well as transportation for special venues such as weddings or special events. They have several vehicles to choose from and transportation to Tampa International airport for one person is an option. My family suggest using Island Limousine first. Our friends and family and most islanders we know give them a AAA rating. Recently a few more companies have come to service the island but the family that owns Island Limousine have been living and working on Holmes Beach for more than 25 years. They have never missed a 3:00 am pickup at our house. We are sure they have the newest, most extensive fleet in the area. I personally don’t know who has the best web site, but when it comes to transportation the proof is in the pudding and you can’t fake that!

We really appreciate every legal airport transportation company on Anna Maria Island in order to keep the traffic on unnecessary rental cars low on our beautiful island.
Most reputable shuttle services join a network of licensed and permitted airport transportation companies. Each company should have a permit with each airport on file.
For passenger safety and educated consumers you should visit each companies website and look for a permit number that typically starts with HCPTC #. In addition you can review the shuttle website for an airport or DOT number as well.

Hi, looking for transportation for 7 women from Tpa to Anna maria in Feburary 2015 and then back to the airport 4 days later… also interested in some type of transportation on the island to take us to the grocery store and maybe to St Armands or to dinner one night. You can take the free trolley which travels the length of the island from north to south, or rent a Golf Cart from one of the rental equipment companies like Fun & More Rentals. While we don’t have the price breakdown of the individual companies, the first three options offer services from and to Tampa International and will be able to provide you a quote.
Looking for Transportaion from and to Tampa Airport – Anna Marie Address is 2312 Gulf Drive. I’m also wanting to know if we can get transportaion ( What are our options ) while on the Island without renting a car. We also have a day trip planned for Mechnie Field and Pirate City while in the area. How can we get to and from their with renting a car.
The services listed above are your best bet for getting to the island from the Airport. Getting off the island without renting a car is less possible. We have a free trolley running 7 days a week that travels the length of the island until 10pm. So when it comes to island travel plenty of people can and do rely on that.
In regards to getting off of the island though, your options would be connecting with the city bus located at Manatee Public Beach.The trolley and bus usually line up. Or taking a cab. Hope that helps!
We need a car for three from Tampa International to Anna Maria Island that provides a child’s high back booster seat. Anyone have success with a company that does this, at a reasonable rate?

A party of my family and friends will be coming to the island at the end of May for a couple of weeks staying in two villas at Holmes Beach. There will be eleven adults and four children and we would like to be picked up from Tampa airport and then hire vehicles locally for our individual needs and possibly transported back to the airport at the end of our holiday.
I would appreciate any information regarding this, whether it is possible and can it be arranged by anyone on the island.
