The Anna Maria Front Park reminds me of my daughter’s 5th birthday. When she turned 5 we held her party at the park under the pavilions, which we reserved with the Manatee County Parks Department at G.T Bray. The park has a great playground for the kids and shade for the adults. There is plenty of seating and tables to serve the food and of course, the cake.
Her birthday was in November so we didn’t do any swimming, instead we had Tookles the Clown surprise her. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the clown was a big hit with the kids. She had all kinds of magic tricks and silly things for the kids to do. She even did face painting! Some of the older boys who were less then impressed with the clown, just took the 5 minute walk to the Rod & Reel Pier and did some fishing.
The Park is just north of Rod & Reel Pier at the end of Pine Avenue and North Shore Ave.
The party was so much fun and when I got back to my house after the party, I had no mess to clean up!
